Let's style the Easter Cake with a colorful printable cake topper! Cluck! Cluck! Easter is coming soon. There are plenty of crafts, decorations and projects you can do with kids, but there is only one you cannot forget for your Easter Sunday Lunch: your Easter Cake decoration!

This year mine is going to be colorful and fun but also very simple to create. Because let’s be honest, I will be so busy that Sunday between the egg hunting, the meal, the guests etc. A printable for me is the fast & easy way to go. Anyone can make it.

I’ve designed a hen this year. Why a Hen? I felt hens are a little bit left out. Bunnies and Chicks are the stars, but for some reason, hens are not! Not fair.

So I’ve designed one and it stands proudly on my frosting with a banner:

How to make
Easter hen cake topper

What you need

printable Easter hen cake topper template
a colorful Straw
toothpick
scissors
tape

Print your template on cardstock and start to cut the elements. You can either cut precisely around the shape or roughly around the edges.

Tape the toothpick behind the hen and the banner to the straw.

Now you can add these two elements to your cake. The scene is even better if you have some little chocolate eggs decorating the cake! What a sweet nest!
