You know that we’re mad about dollhouses! Our Apple House and Pear House are getting lots of love, I couldn’t be happier with the initial feedback. Thank you so much! Here’s another one from Rock & Pebble that I’m super excited to show you.
Is it a book? Is it a house? Well it’s kinda both. As lovers of books, the creative process and doll houses, we had to combine all three into one. So voila The Dollhouse Book – a drawing book that turns into a dollhouse of your dreams!
It has 30 pages of die cut premium paper with a beautifully screen printed cardboard cover. Simply draw, paint, collage and decorate each page. Hold any spread open with the elastic cords on the cover and stand the book up. You now have your very own dollhouse like no other with 15 changeable rooms. A veritable mansion, it’s a magic dollhouse!
We had so much fun with our first book. Firstly just scribbling with crayons and we think the room looks great! : )
Decorating with washi tape and confetti – a must! Painting with brushes, stamping wallpaper patterns, collaging with papers or fabric. Make a glitter filled room for magic fairies to live in… With 15 rooms, there’s room enough for your wildest experiments.
I love the magical feeling of turning each page of a book to discover a new adventure. The open book creates a play space for children’s own story making.
You can also connect multiple books. This is great for friends and siblings to create their own houses, connecting them up to create a large house with different rooms. Then inviting each other to your special room!
So, dream up your own dollhouse, fill up the book with many exciting new rooms and every page becomes a new adventure. It’s an open playground of imagination. And a 15 room mansion! : ) Oh and it folds away nicely to store.
They are available from Rock & Pebble and also coming to some of our awesome stockists.
We hope you like it and a happy Easter! : ) We’ll be back with fun projects on the site.
Oh me, oh my! This is the best! Wait—-you are the best! So much fun!
Thank you Melissa! Hope you have a lovely Easter holidays : )
