Weekend Soundtrack: Sleep Eye by Elizabeth Mitchell

Elizabeth Mitchell’s remake of a song Woody Guthrie wrote for his children from her album Little Seed: Songs for Children By Woody Guthrie. Guthrie’s lyrics and melody are beautifully simple and Elizabeth’s soft sweet voice with the gentle bouncy rhythm of the song make for a perfect lullaby for a peaceful sleep. A good antidote to yesterday’s Halloween horror!
