Alphabet Tracing Worksheets

If your kids are ready to write their first letters, these alphabet tracing worksheets are a great place to start. As a guide, many kids begin learning to write letters around age 5 — but every child is different, so follow their lead.

Each page features one letter of the alphabet with both uppercase and lowercase versions to trace, plus an illustration they can colour in. Print just the letters you need, or the full set of 26.

How to use

Print on standard A4 or US Letter paper. For reusable worksheets, slip the printed page into a plastic sleeve and let kids trace with a dry-erase marker — wipe clean and use again.
