Farm Animal Finger Puppets
Free printable farm animal finger puppets — a piggy, a mouse, a cat, a rabbit and a horse, all ready to print, cut and wear on your fingers. Meow! Neigh! Squeak! Oink!
A lovely craft activity for young children. Plain printer paper works well — the puppets like to be a little flexible so they move naturally on your fingers.
5 animals to make
The template includes a piggy, a mouse, a cat, a rabbit and a horse — a full little farm for your fingers.
How to make
1. Print the finger puppet templates and cut them out. Cut carefully around the white parts next to the cat's nose.
2. Form the faces first. Fold the dotted lines and glue the areas marked 'glue', using the photos as reference.
3. Roll the body parts into a ring sized to fit your finger snugly and glue to fix.
4. Roll a small piece of paper into a ring to fit your fingertip — not too tight. Glue the ring inside the bottom of each animal's head.
5. Your finger should fit through as shown. Adjust the ring size if needed.
6. The horse has a lovely mane — cut along the lines to create frills and glue to the back of the horse's head.
Now you have a small farm of creatures living on your fingers! They may want to meet their snake or bird friends.
