Animal Charades Game

With these printable charades cards, you really just need to print, cut and play.

What is a charades game?

Also called charade, it’s a word guessing game. In the form most played today, it’s an acting game in which one-player acts out a word or phrase, often by miming similar-sounding words, and the other players try to guess the word or phrase. The idea is to use physical rather than verbal language to convey the meaning to the other players.
So just shuffle the animal charade cards and give one card to the player who’s going first, make sure nobody else sees it! The first player to guess the correct animal wins the round and collects one point. The game runs for as long as you like and the winner is the player with the most points!
To play the game differently you could create additional rules of what aspects of the animals you are allowed to describe. Say where they live or what they eat? It’s up to you!
