Liliane Dolls Villa

If you’re like us, as soon as you see this your heart will explode with a child’s excitement, however old you are. Yes, we’ve finally found our favorite thing in the toy store (which of course happens to be the most expensive in there) and our parents won’t get away easily this time as we hold on to the frame and won’t let go!

We featured Liliane Dolls Villa in our favorite Modern Dollshouse post, we got in touch with Liliane at that time, the creator of this stunning piece, and again recently. As we now have a shop as well, we really hoped to bring this into our new shop. (We post things we love here on the blog, and carry things we love over in our shop! Makes perfect sense!). We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Liliane to bring the Dolls Villa to our new shop Moon Picnic, making it available for the public first time in the US! (Yes, families in the US have been missing out big time… we’re going to sort this out. ^ ^  )

We really admire the amount of work and incredible attention to detail that went into this Dolls Villa. Such a well thought-through design, made to an impressively high standard in Germany reflects the full respect for a child’s world.

This Dolls Villa was designed for large dolls (approx. one foot / 30 cm) and stuffed animals (children’s children!) and 4-5 children can play together with enough room for everyone. In their own safe domain filled with all the features of modern living and stylish furniture just like their parents, they learn about pleasure, attachment and trust. This is a gift for the whole family and future generations too.
